If you are having trouble connecting to wireless displays and other peripheral devices via Bluetooth, it means that your device is unable to establish a connection with the Bluetooth audio devices or wireless displays. This often happens due to a corrupted Bluetooth driver, stopped Bluetooth services, misconfigured settings, and hardware compatibility issues.

Before we jump down to the solutions, it is highly recommended that you restart your Bluetooth device. Sometimes, restarting the device can fix connectivity issues as it refreshes the system’s Bluetooth configuration, clears the temporary data, and re-establishes the Bluetooth connection.

1. Make PC Discoverable

First, you need to ensure that your device is discoverable to other devices that you want to connect with. It is possible that the discovery option is not enabled, preventing your device from connecting to a different Bluetooth audio device.

  1. Open the Settings by pressing the Win + I keys simultaneously.
  2. Navigate to Bluetooth & Devices settings from the left pane and select Devices.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom and click More Devices and Printer settings.
  4. Right-click the Bluetooth device and select Properties.
  5. Under the options tab, make sure that Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC is enabled.
  6. Once done, you should be able to see this device when connecting from the main Bluetooth screen.

2. Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter

Troubleshooters are designed to fix problems automatically. Running a troubleshooter can potentially fix common issues with the driver, settings, and services. Therefore, it is recommended that you run a Bluetooth troubleshooter to see if this fixes the problems or not.

  1. Press the Win + I keys simultaneously to open Windows Settings.
  2. Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters.
  3. Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
  4. Once done, check if the issue is resolved or not.

3. Update Bluetooth Drivers

Outdated and corrupted Bluetooth drivers often cause connectivity issues when it comes to connecting to Bluetooth audio devices and wireless displays. Therefore, if you don’t update your device drivers, you should at least try this as it can fix connectivity issues.

  1. Press the Win key to open up the Start Menu.
  2. Type Device Manager in the Start Menu.
  3. Hit the Enter key to open up the Device Manager.
  4. Expand the Bluetooth menu, right-click the Bluetooth driver, and select Update driver.
  5. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to install and update the driver.

4. Remove and Re-add Device

You can also try removing and adding the Bluetooth device to resolve connectivity issues. This will reset the connection between the two devices and clear the corrupted data or settings related to the device.

  1. Right-click the Start Menu and select Settings.
  2. Go to Bluetooth & Devices > Devices.
  3. Here, click the three dots for the device you want to remove and select Remove Device.
  4. Once done, re-add the Bluetooth device and pair it.
  5. Then, see if the problem is resolved or not.

5. Troubleshoot the Miracast Device

If you are trying to connect to a wireless display, you need to ensure that both devices support Miracast technology. Otherwise, you will face connectivity issues. Miracast technology allows users to wirelessly display content on a supported device. It acts as a wireless HDMI cable to display content without needing physical cables. Therefore, make sure your device supports the Miracast technology.

  1. Press the Win + R keys simultaneously to open Run Program.
  2. Type dxdiag in the input box, click OK to run the command and open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
  3. In this window, click Save All Information. You will be asked to save a DxDiag file. Just save it in any location you want.
  4. Once you’ve done this, open the file. Press the CTRL + F keys, type Miracast, and click the Search Down icon. Now, seeing it Available next to Miracast means your device supports this technology. In my case, it does not support Miracast.
  5. Also, ensure that the display you want to use supports Miracast technology. You can do this by navigating to the manufacturer’s website. If it does not support, you can purchase a Miracast adapter which will plug into an HDMI port.
  6. After that, you can try reconnecting both devices again. We recommend removing the device before attempting to reconnect by following method 4.

When the Microsoft Store refuses to update apps or even download anything, it usually indicates a problem with the store, such as corrupted cache files or stopped Microsoft Store services. In addition, if you have third-party antivirus software, it might interfere with the update process, preventing the store from working properly.

This issue occurs mostly when the services required for the Microsoft Store to function properly have stopped running in the background, which is very common with the Microsoft Store. Therefore, you should attempt to restart your computer before moving down to the following methods.

1. Restart the Storage Service and Microsoft Install Service

The Storage Service in Windows manages storage-related tasks the Microsoft Store needs during the installation process. Meanwhile, the Microsoft Install Service handles the installation and uninstallation of applications. If, for any reason, these services get stopped, you will likely encounter this error message. Therefore, ensure that these services are running and functioning properly by following the steps below.

  1. Press the Win + R keys to open the Run Program.
  2. Type services.msc and click OK to open the Services window.
  3. Here, find the Storage Service.
  4. Right-click on it and go to Properties.
  5. Here, change the Startup Type from Manual to Automatic.
  6. Then, click Apply and click OK to save the settings.
  7. Repeat the same steps with the Microsoft Install Service. Then, see if the issue is fixed or not.

2. Clear the Microsoft Store Cache

Microsoft stores cache data to speed up processes. This data can include images, web pages, downloads, and more. If this data becomes corrupted, it can cause several issues, including the one you are experiencing. Therefore, we recommend clearing the Microsoft cache data to determine if it is causing the problem.

  1. Right-click the Start Menu and select Run from the listed options. This will open up the Run Program.
  2. Here, type the command WSReset.exe and click OK to clear the cache.

3. Reset the Microsoft Store App

It is quite possible that your application data has become corrupted, resulting in this issue. You can try fixing this issue by resetting the Microsoft Store app. Resetting the Microsoft cache will not only clear the cache data but also reset the Microsoft Store to its default state, along with clearing the app data, such as authentication cookies, settings, and configuration files.

  1. Press the Win + I keys simultaneously to open the Settings.
  2. Then, go to Apps > Installed Apps.
  3. Here, find the Microsoft Store, click the three dots, and select Advanced Settings.
  4. Scroll down to the Reset section and click the Reset button.
  5. Once the app has been reset, check if the issue is resolved.

4. Re-register the Windows Store App

If nothing works, you can try re-registering the Microsoft Store app. This is just like reinstalling the Microsoft Store. So, if there is any problem with the Microsoft Store app, re-registering it will surely fix it.

  1. Click the Start Menu and type Windows PowerShell.
  2. Right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  3. Once you are in admin mode, run the following command to reinstall the Microsoft Store:
    Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsStore | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  4. Once done, the issue should be resolved.

The solutions above should resolve the issue. However, if none of them work, you have the option to use a system restore utility if you have created a restore point in the past. Alternatively, you can reset your Windows without losing your data.

This issue typically occurs when Copilot Preview is not enabled in the taskbar settings. Additionally, an outdated Windows version or misconfigured registry entries related to Copilot can also contribute to the problem. If you are facing this issue, there are several methods gathered from public forums that you can follow to fix this issue.

Before we dive into the solutions, there are a few things that you need to take care of. First, you need to make sure that you are logged in with your Microsoft account, as Copilot is not available to local accounts. Additionally, we recommend you perform a system restart. This will restart the services and refresh the components that might resolve the issue.

1. Enable Copilot Using Taskbar Settings

If the Copilot option is disabled in your Taskbar settings, you won’t be able to see it. However, you can still access it using the shortcut keys (Win + C). Therefore, check the taskbar settings before proceeding to other methods.

  1. Right-click the Taskbar and select Taskbar Settings.
  2. If you see the Copilot feature, simply enable it to see the Copilot in the Taskbar.

2. Update Windows

You might have an outdated Windows version that does not include Copilot. If that’s the case, updating Windows to the latest version should resolve the issue.

  1. Click the Start Menu, type Check for Updates, and hit Enter to navigate the settings.
  2. Click Check for updates; if updates are found, download all of them.
  3. Once done, restart your computer to install the updates.

3. Disconnect the Second Monitor

Some users found that using a dual monitor confuses Copilot, resulting in this issue. This might seem unusual, but if you have a dual monitor setup, it’s worth trying to disconnect the secondary monitor to see if this resolves the issue.

4. Modify the Registry Editor

You might have Copilot disabled from the registry editor. By modifying specific registry keys, you can re-enable Copilot.

Note: Please make a registry backup before following this method.

  1. Press the Win + R keys to open up the Run Window.
  2. Type regedit in the input box and click OK to navigate to the Registry Editor.
  3. Navigate to the following path
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
  4. Create a key with the name WindowsCopilot if it doesn’t already exist.
  5. Inside that key, create a DWORD (32-bit) value with the name TurnOffWindowsCopilot and set its value to 0. If you already have it, make sure its value is not set to 1. Otherwise, you won’t see Copilot in your Windows 11.

5. Use ViveTool

If none of the solutions work, you can consider using the third-party utility called ViveTool. This utility allows users to enable hidden or experimental features on Windows 11.

  1. Download the ViveTool Zip file from the link.
  2. Once it is downloaded, extract the zip folder using an archive utility such as WinRar.
  3. Once done, navigate to the extracted folder and copy the path of the folder from the address bar.
  4. Now open the Command Prompt as an administrator by searching for it in the Start Menu.
  5. Type cd and the copied path, then hit Enter to navigate.
  6. Once you reach the ViveTool directory in the command prompt, enter the following commands one by one.
    vivetool /enable /id:44774629,44850061,44776738,42105254,41655236

  7. Once done, exit the command prompt and restart your computer to enable Copilot. If you wish to disable Copilot, follow the same steps listed above but replace enable with disable in the last command.

If you followed these steps carefully, you should see the Windows Copilot in your taskbar, especially after following the last method.

If you are unable to install the Windows update due to error code 0x80070641, it typically means there is a problem with the Windows Installer service, which is essential for the installation and removal of software components, including Windows updates.

Although the most common cause of this issue is the Windows Installer service, other factors include corrupted Windows update files and problems with the registry values.

As we have discussed the causes, let’s look at the solutions to this issue.

1. Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter

Windows Update Troubleshooter can help you troubleshoot common issues with the Windows update component. This utility restarts stopped Windows update services, checks for corrupted registry values, and restores missing Windows update files.

Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you start troubleshooting by running the Windows Update troubleshooter.

  1. Press the Win + I keys simultaneously to open Windows Settings.
  2. Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters.
  3. Here, run the Windows Update Troubleshooter and follow the further on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
  4. Once done, check if the issue is resolved.

2. Restart the Windows Installer Service

The Windows Installer Service is responsible for installing and uninstalling software components. If this service is stopped for any reason, you won’t be able to install software and Windows updates. Therefore, make sure that this service is running in the background.

  1. Right-click the Start Menu and select Run.
  2. Once the Run window is opened, type the command services.msc in the input box and click OK to open the Services window.
  3. Here, find the Windows Installer service. Then, right-click on it and select Properties.
  4. Change the Startup type from Manual to Automatic.
  5. Once done, click Apply and click OK. If the service is not running, click the Start button to start the service.

3. Reset Windows Update Components

Resetting the Windows update components will restore the Windows update component to its default state. This process involves stopping essential Windows update services like Windows Update or Background Intelligent Transfer Service, renaming the folders that store the Windows update files to clear the corruption, and finally restarting the services that were stopped initially.

This method can effectively resolve the Windows update error by clearing the corrupted data or settings that may be preventing the Windows update from installing. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Windows update component reset script from the link.
  2. Once it is downloaded, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  3. Wait for the commands to be executed. Once done, check if this resolved the error.

4. Download the Windows Update Manually

If none of the solutions helped, you can download the Windows update manually by navigating to the Microsoft Catalog. This is the most effective method when the Windows update utility displays error messages when trying to download the updates.

  1. Visit the Microsoft Catalog website.
  2. Search for the Windows update that is showing the error message.
  3. Then, download the Windows update according to your Windows version.
  4. Once done, double-click the update file to install it.
  5. Then, check if the issue is resolved.

In case you are unable to download the Windows update manually, you have two options. You can either use a System Restore Utility to go back to the previous state when you were not encountering any issues or reset Windows without losing data. We recommend using the System Restore Utility. However, if you have not created a restore point, you can reset your Windows without losing data.

Hardware Reserved refers to a portion of your RAM reserved by the hardware components and BIOS/UEFI firmware to work properly. Hardware reserved memory is not available to the operating system, which could reduce the system’s performance if too much of it is reserved.

If you notice a significant portion of your RAM is unusable, leading to slow performance, it might be due to a high hardware reserved RAM. You should consider reducing the hardware reserved memory to increase and maintain the system performance by following the methods listed in this guide.

This issue often occurs when BIOS allocates more memory than necessary for hardware components such as integrated GPU, network adapter, and other peripherals.

While this is one of the primary causes, it may not be the only one, as other factors, such as incorrect system configurations and outdated drivers, can also lead to this issue.

1. Change Maximum Memory in Boot Options

You can resolve high hardware reserved memory by making the correct changes in the boot options. There is an option called Maximum Memory in the boot options that restricts the system to use only the specified memory. By unchecking this option, you will ensure that the system utilizes all the physical memory and does not reserve any unnecessary memory for the hardware, which could lead to decreased performance.

  1. Right-click the Start Menu and select Run from the listed options.
  2. Type msconfig in the input box and click OK to open the system configuration Window.
  3. Select Boot from the top and click Advanced Options
  4. Make sure the Maximum Memory option is unchecked.

2. Adjust UMA (Unified Memory Architecture) Frame Buffer Size

UMA (Unified Memory Architecture) determines how much RAM the system allocates to the integrated graphics card for processing purposes. If you reduce the UMA, more RAM will be available to use for the operating system and applications installed on your PC.

Some motherboards don’t call this option UMA. Instead, they referred to this option as memory allocation. So, if you are unable to find UMA in the motherboard bios settings, look for the Memory Allocation option.

  1. Restart your computer and press the key that commonly navigates you to the bios settings during startup. Usually, the F2, Del, or Esc triggers the motherboard bios settings.
  2. Once you are in the motherboard bios settings, go to Advanced settings and look for the UMA Frame Buffer Size or Memory Allocation.
  3. If you can find it, simply reduce its size (If it is 512MB, reduce it to 256MB)
  4. Once done, save and edit the bio settings. This should fix the high-reserved RAM issue.

3. Check your system type

If you are using a 32-bit operating system, you need to upgrade it to 64-bit because a 32-bit operating system can only address up to 4GB of RAM, meaning above this limit won’t be available to the operating system.

A 64-bit operating system assigns less RAM to the hardware reserved than a 32-bit operating system. Therefore, you should consider upgrading if you have a 32-bit operating system.

  1. Press the Win key and type About.
  2. Hit Enter to navigate the settings. Here, you can see the system type under the Device Specifications.

4. Configure Virtual Memory

Virtual memory can be allocated from the storage devices such as hard drives. It is a memory management technique that allows users to extend the RAM available to operating systems by allocating from the hard drives. By configuring the virtual memory, you can run larger applications simultaneously. Plus, it can also reduce the hardware-reserved RAM by optimizing memory allocation.

  1. Press the Win key and type View Advanced System Settings.
  2. Hit Enter to navigate the settings.
  3. Under the Performance, click Settings,
  4. Go to Advanced, click Change under Virtual Memory.
  5. Untick Automatically manages paging file size for all drives and select Custom size.
  6. Your initial size should be 1.5 times the physical RAM, and your maximum size should be three times the physical RAM installed on your PC. For instance, if you have 8 GB RAM, your initial size would be 1024 x 8 x 1.5 = 12,288 MB, and your maximum size would be 1024 x 8 x 3 = 24,576 MB.
  7. Once done, click OK and restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

If none of the solutions help reduce the hardware-reserved memory, try resetting the motherboard BIOS settings to default, as misconfigured BIOS settings might be causing the issue. If this also fails, consider upgrading your RAM for a permanent solution.

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000000e5) error occurs when the application fails to access the required resources, such as DLL files, to perform the necessary tasks. This can happen for various reasons, such as corrupted system files that can’t be used by the applications and interference from third-party antivirus software.

Third-party antivirus applications usually cause this type of error message, as they can block the executable files from running due to their overprotective nature. Now, as we have discussed the causes, let’s jump down to the solutions to this error message.

1. Disable the Antivirus Software

As mentioned earlier, third-party antivirus software can block the application from running, believing it is a threat and should not run on the computer.

Even though third-party antivirus applications sometimes perform better than the built-in Windows Defender, the downside is that they are overprotective when it comes to protection. Therefore, if you use third-party antivirus software, especially the ones from Comodo and AVG, it is highly recommended that you try disabling them temporarily.

  1. Right-click the Antivirus icon from the system tray and hover over the option related to Manage.
  2. Then, select Disable for 10 minutes or Disable Permanently.
  3. Once done, see if the problem is resolved or not.

2. Add the Executable File to the Exclusion List

You can also add the application’s executable file to the antivirus program’s exclusion list to prevent it from interfering with the application’s startup process.

The following steps are for Windows Defender; if you use third-party antivirus software, then you will see the Exclusion option in the settings. You just need to add the executable file to the exclusion list.

  1. Press the Win key to open up the Start Menu.
  2. Type Windows Security and hit the Enter key to navigate to the settings.
  3. Go to Virus & Threat Protection and click Manage settings listed under Virus & Threat Protection.
  4. Now scroll down to the bottom and click Add or Remove exclusions.
  5. Here, click Add an Exclusion and select File.
  6. Browse the application executable file, causing the error message.
  7. Then, select it and click Open.
  8. Once done, check if the error is resolved or persists.

3. Run the Application as an Administrator

As mentioned earlier, this error often occurs when the application cannot access the necessary resources to run properly. Running the application as an administrator will grant it all the required permissions to access resources such as DLL files of redistributable and DirectX components.

  1. Right-click the executable file of the application and select Run as administrator.
  2. If you don’t see any error message, configure the application to always run as administrator.
  3. To do so, right-click the application and go to Properties.
  4. Then, go to Compatibility and tick Run this program as an administrator.
  5. Once done, click Apply and click OK to save the settings.

4. Reset Windows or Restore Windows to a Previous State

Lastly, if you don’t want to reset or restore your Windows, you can try several other methods that are proven to fix this type of error message. For that, please refer to 0xc00007b The Application was unable to start correctly.

If you have tried all the possible solutions but failed to remove the error message, you can try resetting Windows without losing data or using a system restore utility to go back to the previous state when you were not encountering this error message.

If you’re wondering whether you can delete the Delivery Optimization Cache without encountering problems, the short answer is yes. You can delete the Delivery Optimization Cache, especially if you’re running out of storage. Sometimes, the Delivery Optimization Cache can cause issues such as excessive disk space usage and even update failures.

Windows Delivery Optimization is a feature introduced in Windows 10 to help manage the downloading of Windows updates by storing parts of update files in the cache and sharing them with other devices on the same local network. This speeds up the process of updating and installing updates.

This is especially helpful in situations with multiple Windows devices, as it reduces the amount of data that needs to be downloaded to update Windows.

There are several ways to delete the Delivery Optimization Cache, but we will only use the relevant methods.

1. Use Disk Cleanup

One effective way to delete the Delivery Optimization Cache is to use the disk cleanup utility. It allows users to remove unnecessary files to free up space, such as temporary files, cache files, and the delivery optimization cache.

  1. Press the Win key to open up the Start Menu and type Disk Cleanup in the Windows search bar.
  2. Hit the Enter key to run the utility.
  3. Make sure the system drive is selected. Then, click OK.
  4. Under the Files to Delete section, tick all the options and click OK. Then, click Delete Files to confirm the action.
  5. Once done, the Delivery Optimization Cache should be deleted.

2. Use PowerShell and Command Prompt

Another method that you can try is to use Windows PowerShell or the command prompt to delete the Delivery Optimization Cache. This is the shortest and easiest method to clear the Delivery Optimization Cache.

  1. Click the Start Menu and type Windows PowerShell.
  2. Right-click on PowerShell and select Run as Administrator.
  3. Now, enter the following command to clear the Delivery Optimization Cache.
    Get-DeliveryOptimizationStatus | Clear-DeliveryOptimizationCache

  4. Once done, the Delivery Optimization Cache should be deleted.
  5. To clear the Delivery Optimization Cache using the Command Prompt:
  6. Open the Start Menu and type Command Prompt.
  7. Right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  8. Once the command prompt is opened as an administrator, run the following commands to clear the Delivery Optimization Cache.
    net stop dosvc
    rd /s /q %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution\Datastore
    net start dosvc

  9. Once done, the Delivery Optimization Cache should now be cleared.

When users install the ‘KB5037591’ update in Windows, they encounter several problems, including BSODs and driver crashes. This can prevent users from using their devices smoothly due to various bugs in the Windows update KB5037591.

In this article, we will discuss different fixes to solve this problem.

1. Driver Update

BSODs can occur due to outdated drivers, such as display drivers or mouse drivers. These are common reasons BSODs occur. You can check for updates and update the drivers to the latest version.

  1. Search for Device Manager in the search bar and open it.
  2. Right-click on each device and click on Update drivers.
  3. This will automatically update the drivers for you.

You can also use a third-party driver update application to update drivers. Here’s a link to a detailed guide.

2. Check for Windows Update

It might be possible that there are new Windows updates available. With the latest updates, Microsoft usually fixes the bugs in recent updates. So, it is suggested to check for Windows updates and update your system.

  1. Search for ‘Check for updates’ and open it.
  2. Click on ‘Check for updates’ and wait.
  3. If there are any updates available, download and install them.

3. Rollback to a Previous Restore Point

You can roll back to a previous restore point. Rolling back to a previous restore point will revert your Windows to a state where you were not experiencing the error, which can help in solving your problem.

Do this only if you’ve created a Restore Point.

  1. Load into Advanced Startup.
  2. Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore in the Advanced Startup options.
  3. Choose your user profile and enter the corresponding password.
  4. Choose a system restore point from before the update difficulty and press Next.
  5. To start the restoration, click the Finish button.

If none of the solutions provided above work, you can simply uninstall the update. This will remove the update and roll back Windows to a previous version that was not causing this issue, helping to solve the problem.

  1. Search for Windows Update settings in the search bar and open it.
  2. Click on ‘View Update History’.
  3. Click on ‘Uninstall updates’.
